Why Choose a Davey AquaTherm Heat Pump?

A pool heat pump is one of the most energy-efficient ways to heat your swimming pool. Rather than generating heat directly through an electric element, the AquaTherm transfers existing heat from the air into your pool water.

This means more heating energy can be delivered to your pool than the electrical energy consumed, helping reduce operating costs while maintaining comfortable swimming temperatures.

When paired with a quality swimming pool cover, a Davey AquaTherm heat pump can further improve heating efficiency by reducing overnight heat loss and helping retain warmth in the water.

Choosing the Right Size Heat Pump

Selecting the correct heat pump is important for efficient operation and achieving your desired swimming temperature.

The ideal model will depend on several factors, including:

• Swimming pool volume and surface area

• Geographic location and climate

• Desired swimming temperature

• Whether your pool has a thermal cover

• The months of the year you intend to swim

• Pool exposure to wind and surrounding conditions

A correctly sized heat pump will heat your pool more effectively and help maintain comfortable temperatures without unnecessary running costs.
